C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès du facteur d'orgues Guy Thérien. Guy est décédé en la nuit du vendredi 11 mai 2001 à Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, après une brève lutte contre le cancer.
Guy laisse dans le deuil sa femme, Lyne, et ses quatre enfants (Jean-François, Jean-Christophe, Jean-Philippe et Marie-Ève).

It is with profound sadness that we announce of the death of master organbuilder Guy Thérien. Guy died early this morning (Friday, May 11, 2001) in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec after a brief fight with cancer.
Guy is survived by his wife Lyne and four very young children (Jean-François, Jean-Christophe, Jean-Phillippe and Marie-Ève).
